Motorola Razr 40 Ultra and Razr 40 flip phones have been officially launched in India. These phones will directly compete with OPPO Find N2 Flip and the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 4.
The latest Moto Razr is supported by great specifications like a high-end Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, AMOLED display, dual camera, and wireless charging. Moto Razr 40 Ultra Specifications
The Razr 40 Ultra features a 6.9-inch foldable Full HD+ pOLED 10-bit display with 1400 nits peak brightness, 165Hz refresh rate, and 360Hz touch sampling rate. The display’s 22:9 panel is HDR10+ certified and supports 1 billion colors with a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut.
The Razr 40 Ultra gets a clamshell design with Gorilla Glass Victus protection at the front and back. The phone also has a 7000 series aluminum mid-frame. The smartphone runs on out-of-the-box Android 13-based stock Android.
The phone gets a 3.6-inch external flexible display with 1100 nits peak brightness, 144Hz refresh rate, and up to 360Hz touch sampling rate. Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor and Adreno 730 GPU are available in the phone. Moto Razr 40 Ultra comes with 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.

Talking about the camera setup of the phone, it has a primary 12-megapixel Sony IMX563 sensor and a 13MP ultra-wide SK Hynix Hi1336 sensor. A 32-megapixel selfie shooter is available on the front of the phone. It has camera options like burst shots, auto night vision, and dual capture. The device supports 1080p @ 60fps recording.
The phone packs a 3,800mAh battery with support for 30W Turbo Power fast wired charging and 5W wireless charging. In connectivity options, dual nano SIM and e-SIM support, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth version 5.3, NFC, USB Type-C, and 5G support are available in the phone. With the Moto Razr 40, the same display and software support is available as the Razor 40 Ultra. Moto Razr 40 has the support of a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor. The phone gets 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. Talking about the camera setup of the phone, a dual rear camera setup is also available with it.
The phone has a 64-megapixel primary camera with autofocus and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens with 120-degree FOV. The phone gets a 32-megapixel selfie shooter in the front with a punch-hole display.
The phone packs a 4,200mAh battery. It supports 33W Turbo Power wired charging, with no support for wireless charging. The phone has an IP52 rating for water and dust resistance. In terms of connectivity, it has Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, E-SIM support, and 5G support.
Motorola Razr 40 and Razr 40 Ultra price
Motorola Razr 40 Ultra price in India starts from Rs 89,999 and Vanilla Razr 40 price starts from Rs 59,999. Both the foldable phones will be available exclusively on Amazon. Razr 40 Ultra has been introduced in Viva Magenta and Infinity Black color. Whereas Motorola Razr 40 has been introduced in three color options – Sage Green, Vanilla Cream, and Summer Lilac. The device can be bought in both glass and vegan leather back options.
The phone can be purchased from Amazon India or the official Motorola India website. For now, customers can pre-book the Razr 40 Ultra on Amazon India by paying Rs 999. Both phones can be purchased from July 14.
